A JOYFUL AND EXQUISITE PERFORMANCE FOR THE ORCHESTRA'S DEBUT AT KINGS PLACE!

On Sunday 25 September 2016, in an almost sold-out Hall One, Faust Chamber Orchestra made a very successful debut at Kings Place, London with 'Classicism according to Cherubino'.

Mark Austin conducted a joyful and mischievous programme including Prokofiev's well-known 'Classical' Symphony No.1 as well as the less famous Schubert's Symphony No.3, which he explained in a fascinating introduction

Dazzling mezzo-soprano Katie Bray offered a wonderfully mischievous interpretation of Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia. Astounding oboist Olivier Stankiewicz (YCAT 2016 artist and LSO Principal Oboe) amazed the audience with his breathtaking performance of Mozart's Oboe Concerto.
